In-World Kickoff

We had an in-world kickoff event planned on 1 November 2008 where we demonstrated how to build a digital picture frame, including

  • Displaying a texture from Inventory
  • Selecting a random texture from Inventory
  • Advancing images when touched
  • Texture pre-loading (to avoid lag issues)

    Book Signings

    I will be signing books at the Borders bookstore in Minnetonka, MN (near Ridgedale mall) on Thursday 13 November 2008, from 6pm to 8pm.

    I travel a lot, and am willing to do book signings if there is enough local interest. Upcoming trips include

  • Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
  • Winnipeg, Manitoba
  • Brainerd, Minnesota
  • Sioux Falls, South Dakota
  • Boston, Massachussets
  • Washington, D.C.
